Dreamcatcher by Amosha Dreamcatcher by Amosha
This is my first artwork out of the triptych of passage by the American Native it is called "Dreamcatcher" as you know Dreamcatcher - the invention of the ancient Indians, protects the sleeping off evil spirits. Bad dreams become entangled in the web, and good slip through a hole in the middle. Is a web of tough threads and deer lived, spanning the range from willow branches and weave a thread a few feathers. According to one ancient legend elder Lakota Indian tribe ascended the mountain, and there he had a vision, which to him was a teacher of ancient wisdom in the guise of a spider. He said: "There are many roads which move people - everyone chooses his own way. And in each moment of life man speak of passion. If they are good - then send it the right way, and if they are evil - a man goes the wrong way. Web - a perfect circle, but in the heart has a hole. Good thoughts pass through the center to the man. Evil thoughts became entangled in the web and disappear with the dawn "

Thanks so much to my friends :iconcrayonmaniac: & :iconk-raven: for halp me in choosing colors and effect :tighthug:

P.S. I must tell you a funny story with this work. As you know, I used feathers from :icondisneygurl:. When I wrote to her that I used her work, she commented that it was the work of her mother :iconchainedelis: and I used her work in my other artwork [link] and I want say her my big thanks for her great works :woohoo: You can see it in her page :D. It was realy ironic that I found both of her pieces in different places. DA is so big but so closer
